CARICOM: Haiti Takes the Helm of COHSOD for One Year

Haiti will assume the presidency of the Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD) of CARICOM for one year, announces a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship (MAEC). The coordination of this presidency is led by the head of the MAEC, Raina Forbin, under the auspices of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé. According to the statement, this presidency will focus on regional dialogue, the participation of youth and women, creative industries, as well as strengthening cooperation in health and education. Haiti intends to contribute to regional initiatives aimed at fostering more inclusive and resilient human development in the Caribbean.<\/p>
