The Board of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has approved a grant of $38.7 million from the IDB’s donation mechanism to improve food security in the North and Northeast departments of Haiti.
The "Program for Sustainable Agricultural Productivity in the North and Northeast" aims to expand sustainable access to irrigation, support the adoption of climate-resilient agricultural technologies, and strengthen agro-food producer organizations as well as small enterprises in the sector.
