The CSPJ Exchanges with Justices of the Peace on Court Operations

The Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) held discussions on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, with the justices of the peace from the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince and those from other jurisdictions participating remotely. According to a statement from the CSPJ, the discussions focused on the difficulties faced daily in the courts of peace, the reception of litigants, the management of files and records, the functioning of clerks' offices, and the lack of supplies and equipment. The CSPJ aims to assist the jurisdictions in finding solutions and calls on judges to enhance administrative follow-up to provide a more accessible, transparent, and efficient judicial service.
