The CEP warns against premature electoral campaigns

The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) reminds, in a note dated September 28, 2026, that the official campaign period has not yet been set. According to Article 193 of the electoral decree of June 2, 2026, only the CEP is authorized to determine and communicate the allowed dates. The institution invites parties, groups, and candidates to refrain from any activity resembling a campaign before the official opening, in order to preserve a calm and fair electoral climate.<\/p>
