Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Washington and Kiev want the war with Russia to end "before winter," after meeting Tuesday with Donald Trump on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
"I had a positive and productive meeting with President Donald J. Trump. The United States and Ukraine want this absurd war led by Russia to end before winter," Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on X, adding that the two discussed "potential de-escalation steps that could pave the way for diplomacy."
