The DGPC Joins the New Global Alliance for Risk Management

A delegation from the General Directorate of Civil Protection (DGPC), led by its Director General Emmanuel Pierre, participated in the inaugural Assembly of the World Alliance for Disaster Management (WADM) from September 18 to 22, 2026, in Taipei. The meeting brought together representatives from several countries to discuss risk management, training, and information sharing. According to a note from the DGPC, this participation also paves the way for new exchanges with partners involved in disaster prevention and response.<\/p>
