UN: Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé Meets with Prime Minister of Bangladesh

On the sidelines of his participation in the opening of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly on September 22, Prime Minister Alix Didier Aimé met with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Tarique Rahman. Bangladesh is one of the contributing countries to the FRG. The country has promised to deploy 1,600 police officers and engineers between mid-October and the end of November in Haiti. Germany and the United Arab Emirates will contribute to facilitate transportation and resolve logistical difficulties that hinder the deployment of the FRG.<\/p>
