Elections: The CEP records 1,285 registration centers for over 628,000 registered voters

1,285 Registration and Voting Centers (CIV) are operational in the 10 departments of the country and have already registered over 628,755 voters, while 30 accredited structures, including 18 parties and 12 political groups, have submitted their lists of the required 30,000 members, according to a note published on Monday, September 21, 2026, by the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP). Furthermore, the electoral platform counts seven presidential candidates, 162 for the Senate, and 419 for the Chamber of Deputies, while the CEP reports the training of 2,853 electoral registry agents, 4,643 security agents, and more than 1,000 electoral commissioners and judges in charge of disputes.<\/p>
