The Executive Council of the State University of Haiti (UEH) has renewed for two years the mandate of the members of the Scientific Council who have agreed to continue their mission. According to a note from the Rectorate dated September 16, 2026, the new team, chaired by Professor Dominique Boisson, will notably be tasked with overseeing research-related activities within the university. It will be responsible for selecting the research projects submitted to UEH, reviewing files related to scientific awards, and formulating, as needed, proposals on regulations and charters concerning research. Renewed on July 22, 2026, the mandate will end on July 22, 2028. A representative of the Henry Christophe Campus in Limonade will also join the Council after their designation.
