Security: the CSPN announces a new phase of reclaiming the territory

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé chaired a special meeting of the Superior Council of National Police (CSPN) on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the headquarters of the General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti (DGPNH) in Tabarre. During this meeting, the authorities defined the state's security priorities and reviewed the progress of operations conducted notably in Kenscoff and Gressier, according to a statement from the Primature. The head of government ordered the acting chief commander of the PNH to continue and intensify security and reclamation operations to protect the population and restore free movement, according to the statement.
