The Ministry of Women's Condition and Rights (MCFDF) launched, on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the Montana Hotel in Pétion-Ville, a series of consultations with political parties, groups, and political alliances. This initiative aims to ensure the full and effective participation of women in the upcoming elections, the ministry emphasized in a statement. The first day brought together representatives from several political structures, including Konbit Nasyonal (KONA), represented by former senator Joseph Lambert, the Organization of the People in Struggle (OPL), represented by former deputy Ketel Jean Phillipe, as well as delegates from the DEBLOKE party, the Alternative League for Progress and Haitian Emancipation (LAPEH), and the AN AVAN POU AYITI alliance.
