André Déjean, who died on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the age of 75 in a Florida hospital where he had been rushed after suffering a heart attack, leaves behind around twenty albums and a body of work as an arranger. The first part of his story ended in the late 1970s, when the Frères Déjean, based in New York, had established their brass section as a signature sound.
