Gautier Lekens takes office as Ambassador of France to Haiti

The new Ambassador of France to Haiti, Gautier Lekens, presented his letters of credence to Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé on Monday, September 14, during a ceremony at the National Palace, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship, Raina Forbin. He discussed with the Head of Government the cooperation between Haiti and France in the areas of security, education, and culture, while the Prime Minister intends to strengthen these relations. For its part, the French Embassy states that Gautier Lekens aims to work with the Haitian authorities and population to contribute to the future of Franco-Haitian relations.<\/p>
