New License Plates for PNH Vehicles

The General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) announced on Thursday the change of license plates for all its vehicles, heavy equipment, and motorcycles in the ten departments of the country. The new plates, designed to enhance the identification and control of PNH's rolling stock, notably feature: a white background with a yellow map of Haiti, the inscription "Haiti" vertically accompanied by the national emblem, a flag at the bottom right, and the mention "Police" followed by the slogan "The Pearl of the Antilles". This measure, according to the PNH, aims to prevent any confusion and to stop the use of fake plates by ill-intentioned individuals. The PNH calls for vigilance and collaboration from citizens to support its efforts for order, security, and peace across the territory.
