The holder of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI), James Monazard, met yesterday, Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with the representative of UN Women in Haiti, Marie Goretti Nduwayo, to discuss the realities facing women entrepreneurs in the country. During their discussions, they raised several concerns, including access to financing, training, and the lack of support to advance their activities. The two officials also discussed the need to strengthen the presence of women in economic decision-making spaces and to support the businesses they have created.<\/p>
