In Africa, Raina Forbin Calls for Enhanced Mobilization in Support of Haiti

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship (MAEC), Raina Forbin, called for increased mobilization from Africa around Haiti's national priorities. She participated, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in a ministerial meeting dedicated to the mid-term review of the Doha Action Program for the least developed countries (LDCs). On this occasion, the minister advocated for the restoration of security in Haiti and the strengthening of its strategic alliance with Africa. She also called for the establishment of financing mechanisms better suited to the realities of countries facing crises and fragility.<\/p>
