The novels of Yannick Haenel, Anne Godard, and Thélyson Orélien, among the stars of the literary rentrée, are included in the first selection for the Femina Prize revealed on Tuesday by the jury.<\/p>
This first selection includes 17 French titles and 16 foreign titles.<\/p>
The Femina Prize, in the categories of French novel, foreign novel, and essay, is set to be awarded on November 4, the day after the Goncourt and Renaudot prizes.<\/p>
Before that, the all-female jury of 12 members will announce a second selection on October 6 and a third on October 23.<\/p>
In 2025, the Femina was awarded to Nathacha Appanah for "La nuit au cœur" (Gallimard).<\/p>
