Jacmel: 11 arrested and 2.6 kg of marijuana seized

11 people have been arrested for drug trafficking during a police operation carried out in the localities of Monchil and Saint-Hélène, in Jacmel. Among those apprehended are Dabady Mimose, Jean Francky, Marie Antoinette Alexandra Laurent, and Chérubin Sony. During this intervention, the police seized 2.6 kilograms of marijuana, divided into four bundles, as well as 18,095 gourdes, four bullets, and two quantities of tobacco. The suspects have been handed over to judicial authorities for further proceedings. Furthermore, the PNH indicates that Jean Francky and Chérubin Sony allegedly stated that they purchased the drugs in the South department before transporting them to Jacmel.
