In the days leading up to the new school year, the Ministries of Public Health and National Education are strengthening their collaboration to support students who are victims of psychological trauma linked to the violence of armed groups. As part of the national mental health strategy in schools, 150 facilitators have already been trained and will soon be deployed in educational institutions to provide local psychosocial support, according to the MENFP. The latter also plans to provide students with psychologists, doctors, or nurses.
