Kenscoff: the IBESR ensures follow-up for released children

The Institute for Social Welfare and Research (IBESR) confirms the release, on August 28, of 13 individuals kidnapped during the deadly attack in Kenscoff, including six children and seven women. With the support of UNICEF, the IBESR has taken charge of the released children, providing them shelter and psychosocial support, it stated in a press release. The institution recalls that the protection and family reunification of children who are victims of abduction remain a priority. It encourages the public to report any separated or vulnerable children and reaffirms its commitment to working with its partners to carry out the necessary actions to ensure their safety and well-being.
