The Ministry of Women's Condition and Women's Rights (MCFDF), in collaboration with the National Identification Office (ONI), is organizing a special national identification operation from Friday, August 28 to Sunday, August 30, 2026. The operation will take place at the Departmental Directorate of the West of the MCFDF, located in Delmas 83. This initiative aims to facilitate access to the National Identification Card (CIN), particularly for women, in order to promote their participation in civic life. Individuals who do not yet have a CIN, as well as those whose card has been lost, damaged, or has an issue, can take advantage of this operation to carry out the necessary procedures with ONI agents. As upcoming electoral deadlines approach, the MCFDF reminds that national identification is an important step in exercising civil and political rights. The Ministry encourages women's organizations, community associations, and concerned individuals to take advantage of this operation to obtain or renew their card. The operation will continue until Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the premises of the Departmental Directorate of the West of the MCFDF, in Delmas 83.
