Meeting MTPTC–Huawei on Energy Transition and Green Technologies in Haiti

The holder of the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Communications (MTPTC), Joseph Almathe Pierre Louis, received a delegation from the international firm Huawei for a strategic exchange on energy transition and green technologies. On this occasion, experts from Huawei Digital Power presented their smart photovoltaic solutions and storage systems, as well as their "4T" approach (Bit, Watt, Heat, Battery) to enhance energy efficiency, according to a statement from the MTPTC. The discussions focused on the potential of solar micro-grids and advanced management platforms to improve the resilience of the Haitian electrical grid. This meeting paves the way for pilot projects for a greener and more connected future in Haiti, according to the statement.
