More than 2,600 displaced persons in Kenscoff, according to IOM

2,647 people, or 702 households, had to leave Kenscoff after the new armed gang attack that took place between August 23 and 24, 2026, according to data from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), published on August 26. Most of the displaced persons, or 77%, have found shelter with families in Pétion-Ville, while others have moved to three displacement sites.
