The Organization of American States (OAS) firmly condemns the attack carried out by gangs in Kenscoff and denounces its heavy consequences for the Haitian population. Six days after his mission in Haiti, OAS Secretary General Albert Ramdin reacted on X to express his solidarity with the affected communities and extend his condolences to the families of the victims. He laments a violence that, beyond material destruction, leaves deep wounds in the communities, deprives families of their peace of mind, and fosters despair among the youth.
