Installation of the new Board of Directors of the BRH

Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé chaired, this Wednesday, the inauguration ceremony of the interim Board of Directors of the Banque de la République d’Haïti (BRH), at the Antonio André Convention and Documentation Center in Port-au-Prince. Appointed on August 11, the Board consists of Ronald Gabriel, governor, Guerly Leriche, deputy governor, Florient Jean Mari, general director, as well as Michèle Delerme and Edwige Jean. The head of government set four priorities: bring inflation below 10%, strengthen financial and macroeconomic stability, modernize the national payment system, and develop the financial market. He also urged the BRH to improve its communication with the public in order to consolidate the trust of economic actors and the population.<\/p>
