The New York Stock Exchange closed in the red on Monday, as rising oil prices and bond yields, coupled with fresh concerns over the Middle East, prompted the few active investors to exercise caution.
The Dow Jones fell by 0.51%, the Nasdaq lost 0.32%, and the broader S&P 500 declined by 0.52%.
