An international scientific study conducted in the North highlights the particular vulnerability of Haitian women to cancer, while opening new perspectives for biomedical research in the region.

This initiative is part of the Afro-Caribbean Single-Cell Network (CZI), in partnership with the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami. It took place in Cap-Haïtien from March 17 to 22, 2026, following a phase of virtual training held from February 11 to March 13, 2026.
