A few journalists, some travel agency owners, a few VIPs, and some trusting passengers who had purchased their tickets as soon as the announcement was made are on board. This is Sunrise’s very first flight linking Haiti—specifically the North—to this part of the United States, which is heavily populated by the Haitian diaspora.
