In their opening match of the 2027 World Cup qualifiers, the Haitian U20 side triumphed confidently over Anguilla with a 7–0 scoreline at the Rignaal Jean Francisca Stadium in Willemstad, the capital of Curaçao.
Franco Célestin (9’) opened the scoring for the Haitian U20 team with a solo effort, following an assist from Arthur Alcimé. The forward outplayed Anguilla’s left back before advancing into the opposing penalty area to net Haiti’s first goal.
