Renewal of the HOPE/HELP Act: the ADIH Welcomes a Step Forward

The Association des Industries d’Haïti (ADIH) welcomes the vote by the United States House of Representatives in favor of renewing the HOPE/HELP legislation. This decision extends the provisions until December 31, 2026, with retroactive application starting in September 2025, thereby ensuring the continuity of essential trade benefits for Haitian industry, the association said in a statement released on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, while also noting that it will continue “its advocacy for a long-term extension.”
