Federal Judge Ana C. Reyes ordered a stay of the effective date of the decision by the Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, terminating Haiti’s designation for Temporary Protected Status (TPS), 90 Fed. Reg. 54733 (Nov. 28, 2025) (“the Termination”), pending judicial review.
During the period of the stay, the Termination is null, without effect, and devoid of any legal force. It therefore in no way affects the protections and benefits previously conferred by the TPS designation, including work authorization
