New Provisional Municipal Commission Installed in Cap-Haïtien

Cap-Haïtien welcomed this Friday, September 5, 2025, a new Interim Municipal Commission, headed by entrepreneur and cultural activist Angeline (Angie) Bell. Between citizen hopes and skepticism, this team is tasked with managing the city amid unsanitary conditions, social tensions, and institutional mistrust, while awaiting elections that continue to be postponed.

A new Interim Municipal Commission now leads the Municipal Administration of Cap-Haïtien.
