A fleeting refuge from the sweltering heat and the bustle of a city patrolled by UMVs, soldiers, and federal agents… academics, diplomats, and members of the Haitian diaspora gather there, conversing in depth, exchanging stories, and forging connections, shortly after 6 p.m.
