In 1998, six musicians based in New York joined forces to record the album Gaspillé. The Jean-Pierre brothers, Kinelly and Welmyr, along with Armstrong Jeune, Makarios Césaire, Yves Albert Abel, and Shedly Abraham, had no idea this project would give birth to one of the most promising compas groups of the era.
