The story of Volo Volo de Boston began in 1971 in Massachusetts, USA, born from a merger of former members of the groups Les Ambassadeurs and Les Fantaisistes de Carrefour. The name, inspired by the Latin volo, volare—meaning “to fly”—symbolized from the outset their ambition to rise within the compas music scene.
