The trauma and orthopedic team at Justinian University Hospital (HUJ) successfully performed a total knee replacement on Sunday, March 9, on a patient suffering from advanced osteoarthritis.

At 70 years old, the patient had been living with knee osteoarthritis for more than a decade. She underwent the procedure under general anesthesia in the HUJ operating room, where the surgery lasted over three hours.
