IHSI Estimates Indicate Decline in Haiti’s Population Growth for 2024

The Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI) has published on its website (https://ihsi.gouv.ht) a document entitled Disaggregated Estimates of the Haitian Population in 2024. This document, spanning approximately 500 pages, provides a wide range of information on the total population and its distribution across the entire country. Le Nouvelliste met with the Deputy Director General of IHSI, Mr. Harry Salomon, to gain further clarity on the reasons and key aspects of this publication.
