A first group of repatriated individuals arrived in the country this Tuesday at Cap-Haïtien International Airport. This is the first contingent since the advent of the Trump administration in Washington.
Among these 25 repatriated individuals, 13 are convicted criminals, according to Kerlande Desauguste, regional director of the National Office of Migration (ONM), the only state agency present, alongside the Haitian National Police (PNH), to welcome the returnees on Tuesday.
