In a packed MSPP conference room, former deputy Bertrand Sinal was sworn in as Minister of Public Health and Population. The audience, composed of MSPP staff, family members, leaders of the December 21 Accord, and other political figures, waited patiently for over two hours for the arrival of outgoing Health Minister Patrick Pélissier. The ceremony was solemnly opened by Dr. Jeanty Fils Exalus, Director of the UCRP.
