The administrators of the International Monetary Fund have urged the Haitian authorities “to complete and publish the 2023 audit of the central bank in order to demonstrate their commitment to transparency and to limit foreign exchange market interventions to smoothing out excessive exchange rate volatility,” according to the communication of the results from the IMF Executive Board consultations with Haiti under Article IV, dated December 10, 2024.
