Rainfall continues to pour down on the city of Cap-Haïtien and several other communes in the Nord Department since last Tuesday, paralyzing the Christophian city. Since the onset of the rains, various neighborhoods in the country’s second-largest city have been completely flooded.
The flooded areas include Ba Zo-Vincent and Charrier at the southern entrance of the city, as well as Blue Hills, EPPLS, Cité Chauvel, and Cité du Peuple, located in the second communal section of Haut du Cap.
