Mass deportations and abuses continue unabated, and relief for Haitian nationals in the Dominican Republic seems far from sight. Following the announcement by Dominican President Luis Abinader’s administration to deport 10,000 Haitian migrants per week, Dominican authorities have begun to act, deporting over two thousand Haitians from October 1 to October 6 alone.
