Robotics: Haiti Secures Two Awards at the 2024 First Global Challenge

The Haitian robotics team, composed of five teenagers, made a remarkable impact at the 2024 First Global Challenge held in Athens, Greece, from September 26 to 29. With two awards under their belt, these young innovators proudly represented Haiti, showcasing how technology can be a powerful tool to address global challenges.

Haiti continues to make strides in the fields of technology and innovation. At the 2024 First Global Challenge, an international robotics competition, five Haitian students stood out by winning two awards: a bronze medal, the Al-Khwarizmi Award, and the Social Media Challenge Award. The event, hosted in Athens, brought together talents from around the world under the theme "Feeding the Future."
