Miragoâne Explosion: 19 Burn Victims to Be Airlifted to Port-au-Prince Hospitals

The Ministry of Public Health and the organization Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) are organizing a medical flight to evacuate 19 severely burned victims of a fuel tanker explosion in Miragoâne to specialized hospitals in Port-au-Prince.

The Ministry of Public Health and the organization Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) are organizing a medical flight to evacuate 19 severely burned victims of a fuel tanker explosion in Miragoâne to specialized hospitals in Port-au-Prince. This information was provided to Le Nouvelliste by Emmanuel Pierre, the Director-General of Civil Protection.

According to Pierre, Médecins Sans Frontières and the Bernard Mevs Hospital are already prepared to receive the injured.
