Haiti's Inflation Hits 30% Mark in July 2024

As in previous months, inflation in Haiti continues to climb, reaching new heights each time, as revealed in the latest publication from the Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI) in their monthly report titled "The IPC Corner."

In July 2024, the General Consumer Price Index (CPI, 100 in 2017-2018) continued its inflationary trend, rising from 408.9 to 413.3, marking a monthly increase of 1.1% and an annual growth of 30%, compared to 1% and 28.9% in the previous month, according to the latest IHSI publication.
