Potential Tropical Wave Threatens Haiti

Haiti is under threat from a tropical wave, according to the latest bulletin from the Hydrometeorological Unit of Haiti (UHM). Observations from the Caribbean and the Atlantic indicate the arrival of a tropical wave located east of Haiti. Combined with convection activities southeast of Cuba, this wave is maintaining the humidity of the air mass over the central and western parts of the Greater Antilles this Sunday afternoon. This situation could cause "some thunderstorms in several departments of Haiti later this afternoon and evening.
