Dr. Vladimir Larsen: Medical Order is a Health Crisis

The creation of a medical council, encouraged by the Ministry of Public Health and Population through its departmental offices, is sparking debate. The ministry already supported the establishment of several committees across the country's 10 geographical departments, although many medical figures and associations feel the initiative is rushed. "The issue is highly sensitive, and stakeholders are not adequately involved," they argue. Despite these considerations, Dr. Vladimir Larsen, Director of Health Sciences Training and Development at the MSPP, considers it "a public health emergency" requiring immediate attention.

"It's not just the insecurity we see in the streets that should concern us. Today, there's a health insecurity linked to numerous disorders observed in medical practice. Establishing a medical council will help address these issues," explains Dr. Vladimir Larsen from the outset.
