A new protest took place in the city of Trou-du-Nord on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. The Gathering of Engaged Citizens of Trou-du-Nord (RECET) and other sociopolitical structures, estimated to be in the thousands, once again protested against the current government.
For the second time this week and without police presence, thousands of people marched through the streets of Trou-du-Nord. Once again, the demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry was the protesters' main call.
