Haiti Changes Venue for Its Matches

In a statement released on the evening of Tuesday, October 3, 2023, the Haitian Soccer Federation announced that the national senior male and female teams will host their upcoming matches in October in Trinidad & Tobago and Saint Kitts and Nevis, respectively.

While the national teams have been hosting their opponents in the neighboring country due to the ongoing wave of insecurity that has plagued the nation for over two years, this time they are compelled to utilize alternative stadiums that meet the standards established by the regional football governing body. This development is believed to be a consequence of the dispute surrounding the construction of a canal on the Massacre River, situated between Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
