Armed Criminals Leave 30 Dead, 15 Injured, and 800 Families Displaced in Saut-d'Eau and Mirebalais

Attacks orchestrated by armed criminals in the municipalities of Saut-d'Eau and Mirebalais between September 22 and September 25, 2023, resulted in around thirty deaths, over a dozen injuries, and forced more than 800 families to flee their homes, according to a provisional report released by the Civil Protection Directorate, a copy of which was obtained by the newspaper on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

In its report number 5, the Civil Protection Directorate provided an update on the situation of those affected by the violence of armed gangs in Saut-d'Eau and Mirebalais.

This report, covering the period up to September 27, 2023, records 30 deaths and 15 injuries.
